Kitty Cat Clocks

Kitty Cat Clocks : The Cat’s Meow! Welcome to our discussion of cute kitty cat clocks that are the cat's meow! I love kitty cat clocks -- especially whimsical ones! If I had more wall space, I'd probably have several more kitty cat clocks hanging on my wall.

My sister in Ohio has the original Kit-Cat Clock hanging on her wall that mom gave her from when we were kids. At the moment, this is the very kitty cat clock that is hanging on the kitchen wall of the house that I left the ex! I really wanted to take this kitty cat clock, but I had another one especially made for me by a fellow lensmaster.

So, that spotlighted kitty cat clock? Oh, we found this cute kitty cat clock at an artsy shop in Jacksonville Beach. What is so cute about this kitty cat clock is its whimsical nature and the adorable mouse pendulum. It's the cat's meow!

Oh, I finally found a spot on my wall for that new cat pendulum clock from Finland! It hangs on the wall in my home office.

Tidy Cats Breeze Litter Box System

How did I become a fan of the Tidy Cats Breeze Litter Box System for Multiple Cats and, more importantly, what about the cool cat in my household who loves that litter box system?

Take a look at the multiple kitty cats in the Tidy Cats Breeze litter box! Aren't they adorable? You'd think I had them model for me to promote this product. But, no, that isn't the case!

In June 2014, I rescued a white calico cat and her six little kittens who were approximately 3 weeks of age.

When I took the six kittens and their mommy cat into my Florida Room, I already had one Tidy Cats Breeze litter box in that room. Within the next couple of weeks, I bought two more - one that was backup and the other that was placed in my guest bedroom for Boots the cat.

Photo Opportunity! That one morning when I was putting out treats and food and then cleaning the other clay litter box which was adjacent to the Tidy Cats, I noticed something unusual. It was a photo opportunity that I couldn't have arranged. Serendipity!

I was bending over and my medium length platinum blonde hair was hanging down covering my face. I could see these three little cutie kittens bobbing left and right behind me. Oh my, but I missed a lot of photos.

I grabbed my camera and took three photos of the trio -- those photos were upside down. Once I opened the three photos in Photoshop, it was a moment of awe!

By the way, these three little cuties were picked up by ACPS on Friday, August 1, 2014. The little cutie kitten on the right was named Dundee and put up for adoption on PetHarbor. Dundee is a male kitten.

The orange tabby and white calico are female kittens. For a brief time, they were assigned numbers in the PetHarbor database, but their records got pulled from public view. I was told they were being fostered until they could be spayed and put up for adoption.

Little Dundee was the sweetest little kitten that used to love to roll around in the Tidy Cats litter box. He had two brothers who also would jump into the litter box and play. I think they loved the domed sides and the clay litter.

Those two brothers were named El Toro and Echo. I've linked to their PetHarbor pages. Those pictures that the ACPS is using do not show you the personality of these little kittens. If you get a chance to drop in to the Jacksonville Florida ACPS, please take a moment to say hello to Dundee, El Toro and Echo. Those are some special little kittens who I had the honor to foster for six weeks.

Boots the Cat loves Tidy Cats!
In the Summer of 2013, Boots the Cat came back to live with me. My ex emailed me one day asking if I would mind taking Boots back since she was having issues with the two new cats in his household. She particularly didn't like the black one. I was thrilled to get one of my cats back.

I knew I had a covered litter box in the attic and would have to get it down. But, first, I asked the ex if Boots was still enjoying the motorized litter box. Good thing I asked! He told me that he had been using a new type of litter box system from Tidy Cats. While it might be a little more expensive, overall, it was a better experience for the cat and the homeowner.

That weekend, before Boots was scheduled to appear, I went to my local PetSmart store. I had Googled, Tidy Cats Breeze Litter Box System for Multiple Cats and secured a $10 off coupon. I also used my PetSmart loyalty card and secured a discount price at the store of $29.99. With the $10 coupon, I paid only $19.99 which included the litter box, one package of liners and one package of litter pellets.

When I got the system home, I was thrilled how perfectly the green box matched with my Sherwin-Williams Happy Green walls in the guest bedroom. That was where I first located the system. Underneath the box, I placed a small rug and put a matching smaller rug at the front of the unit.

I must admit that when I saw the pellets I wondered if they would "explode" when they got wet. I noticed over the course of use, that the pellets in the location where Boots would urinate, would turn darker.

I've been using the Tidy Cats Breeze Litter Box System for Multiple Cats now for some nine months. I find that every 8-10 days I will replace the liner. Since I only have the one cat, the liner does pretty well over that time period. I will usually pull out the liner tray and rotate the liner midway through that time period. Boots seems to urinate in one spot!

As for replacing the pellets ... would you believe? I have thus far replaced them every 3 months! Yep. I believe it is recommended that you replace them once a month. On the day that I replace the pellets, I will empty the litter box system and wash it in my bathtub with pine sol cleaner to freshen it up. After drying it, I will replace the pellets and the liner.

The "Tidy Cats Breeze Litter Box System" used to be in my guest bedroom. I have moved it to the Florida Room under a table that has a tablecloth which hangs down in front of the table. That gives Boots a little privacy when using the box.

After using the system for nine months, I can't think of every going back to sandy litter. This is the cleanest litter system I've ever used. And, I think Boots enjoys moving around the pellets after she poops! Her poop is never runny, so I think that helps to extend the life of the pellets to three months.

I think this is a terrific litter box system - the idea of absorbing liners is an excellent perk to this system. I'm happy with it and I believe Boots is too! It especially is friendly to my senior citizen budget too.

The two items that you will need for your litter box system are those terrific little white pellets, Tidy Cats Breeze Litter Pellet Refill, 3.5-Pound Packages (Pack of 6), which take litter to a new level, and those absorbing liners, Breeze Tidy Cat Litter Pads 16.9" x 11.4"(1 pack of 4 pads).

I believe these pellets are much like the pellets in natural litters. I know I've seen them before. However, these are "harder" to the touch and white.

You will be impressed by how much urine these litter pads absorb. Those are the type of liners which were probably inspired by baby's diapers! As I mentioned earlier, I can go up to ten days with one cat before I have to change it. I just rotate it half way through, about 5 days of use.

A picture is worth more than a few thousand written words. Check out these videos which give you a great view of that cool litter box system. Note the cool happy green color too and the little white pellets.

Hello readers! Are you a cat lover like me? Have you tried the Tidy Cats Breeze Litter Box System for Multiple Cats yet? If you have, please tell me how you like it and any special tips you have for use. If not, what are you waiting for? Give it a try.
