Club Dobogomajor cabin in Hungary

That Picture by JaguarJulie! See that picture of the cabin with the reflections in water? I took that very picture whilst on our vacation to Hungary when we stayed at Club Dobogomajor.

One afternoon we were walking around the grounds of the timeshare resort when a photo opportunity presented itself. It’s reflections of the resort cabin in the swimming pool. Talk about the "art of reflection!"

"The queen possesses a magical mirror that answers any question, to whom she often asks: 'Mirror, mirror on the wall, who in the land is fairest of all?' to which the mirror always replies 'You, my queen, are fairest of all.' But when Snow White reaches the age of seven, she becomes as beautiful as the day, and when the queen asks her mirror, it responds: 'Queen, you are full fair, 'tis true, but Snow White is fairer than you.' Though in another version, the mirror simply replies: 'Snow White is the fairest of them all.'" --Snow White, the rest of the story.

"The world is a looking glass and gives back to every man the reflection of his own face." --William M. Thackeray

"Each of us is here for a brief sojourn; for what purpose he knows not, though he senses it. But without deeper reflection one knows from daily life that one exists for other people." --Albert Einstein

"It is not by muscle, speed, or physical dexterity that great things are achieved, but by reflection, force of character, and judgment." --Marcus Tullius Cicero

"The changing of sunlight to moonlight
Reflections of my life
Oh how they fill my eyes

The greetings of people in trouble
Reflections of my life
Oh how they fill my eyes

Oh my sorrows
Sad tomorrows
Take me back to my own home."
--Reflections Of: The Anthology by Marmalade

Are You Up For Such an Adjustment? Let's hear what you have to say -- silence can be deafening! With all the hubbub of life, could you use some solitude?
  • Oh my dear -- you are reading my mind -- give me some.
  • Crikey. I'm into all the hubbub -- bring it on!
  • I like to be contrary.
  • It is for when you are buried!
