I find that it is the one red spice that I use most often in my cooking. Yes, sometimes we like it spicy! And, sometimes we use a little less of this spice just to give our foods a bit of a kick. How about you? Do you also love this red spice? How do you use it? Check out my delicious cayenne recipes for spicing up some of my favorite foods.

Well, it sure is an added plus that this red spice has special health benefits. Cayenne, you know, is a medicinal and nutritional herb. It is the valuable herb. It is a very high source of Vitamins A and C, has the complete B complexes, and is very rich in organic calcium and potassium, which is one of the reasons that cayenne pepper is so very good and healthful for the heart.

Many herbalists believe that it is the most useful and valuable herb in the herb kingdom, not only for the entire digestive system, but also for the heart and circulatory system. It acts as a catalyst and increases the effectiveness of other herbs when used with them.

P.S. It's November 2012 and I have moles in my front yard! Somebody suggested I try some of this spice in their tunnels. I'm trying it now, as we speak. Check back for hot details on this spice. We'll be getting the opinion of a few moles.
